Saturday Jan. 31
Last night...Friday the 30th...was the first night in several weeks that the Knight and I had slept more than three hours at a time. Our sleep seemed suddenly peaceful and much needed. It seems that we have finally reached a point with the pain killers....we call them Dragon Slayers...that the sleep can finally come and we are ever grateful.
Today, the first full day after the chemo injections, has been much more restful and quiet. We take this to be a good sign. Please pray endlessly....we feel you near. Big decisions ahead.
So much LOVE to all from us here on Overlook.

Paula, Howard and all the Knights you are in our prayers. Please know that even though we are not there in person we truly are there in spirit with you. We may not understand the Lords plan but we understand that he has a plan for all of us.
ReplyDeleteThe two of you have touched so many lives over the years, and you continue to do so even now with this blog.
We love you and continue to pray with you and for you.
Love Tara, Steven, Cierra, Olivia and Alexandra
So very happy the healing process has begun for our beloved Knight. You are in our prayers and in our hearts and we awa it news of healing and feeling well again. We love you. Phyllis
ReplyDeleteDearest Cuzzes,
ReplyDeleteOur church prayed for you today, and they are all good "pray-ers." With all of Soperton and Macon and Chippewa Falls praying, God must be sure to listen and give you the strength to deal with all the pain and sleeplessness and decisions to be made. Wish we could come and hold your hand, but will hold it in our hearts.
Love and God bless...
WisCuz and HM
The Knight is on our prayer list at St.Stephen's in M'ville. I remember the first time I heard of Howard and Paula Knight from my good friend and my daughter's Godmother... Delise Knight. The Borzoi's you raised and loved will help watch over you. Czar, Prince and Olga.
ReplyDeleteThe Douglas' are praying for you in Colorado Springs. We pray for your will and strength to endure. Sometimes, life deals us a terrible blow, but our Lord gives us strength and never leaves us alone. May HE be with you, bless you and hold you close. Howard & Paula, we love you both very much.
